Grocery
Gift Cards
Each year, Catholic Charities provides hundreds of needy families in our community with dinners for Thanksgiving and Christmas - everything but turkey or ham. This is where you come in - by donating $10 gift cards from local grocery stores so that our families can purchase the meat of their choice to go with their holiday meal. Please mail your gift cards (or checks) to: Catholic Charities Bureau, Christmas / Thanksgiving Meal, PO Box 543, St. Augustine, FL 32085
Help make the holidays brighter for those in need by adopting a family through Catholic Charities this year! You tell us how large or small a family you want to “adopt.” We will match you up with a family of that size, and then all you have to do is buy presents for the children in your “adopted” family (adults are optional). You may also provide the food for the family’s holiday meal if you wish. We will give you all the relevant information you need, such as the ages and clothing sizes of all the children in the family. We even get a "wish list" from each child of the things they are hoping that Santa will bring them this year. Catholic Charities helps hundreds of local families during the holidays each year through the Adopt-A-Family program. But its success would not be possible without the support of caring and compassionate people right here in our community – people just like you. Please consider sharing a little of your time and generous spirit this year to give a special Christmas to children in need who otherwise may not have one at all. Adopting a family is a great holiday project for your local church group, civic group, or place of business. Please call Patrice at 829-6300 for more information.
