Our
Services
When tough
times come, they hit some people harder than others.
That's why Catholic Charities provides a
number of programs and services to help them get
through the tough spots and back on their feet.
For those in crisis, we offer food,
counseling, financial help, information and referral,
and other basic necessities.
1. Homeless Prevention (Including Elderly
Services) -
Catholic Charities is committed to providing the
basic needs necessary to prevent homelessness. A
crisis situation can threaten families already
living from paycheck to paycheck when an unexpected
illness, loss of employment or other family crisis
impacts finances already stretched too far.
Our Homeless Prevention Program is open to families
with minor children in the household and seniors age
60 and above. Services available include:
2. Counseling - Catholic Charities offers individual, marriage, and family counseling services through licensed therapists. Please click here for more information.
3.
Adoptions - As a fully licensed and accredited
agency, Catholic Charities provides a comprehensive
array of adoption services, including pregnancy
counseling, home studies and post-placement
services. Please visit the
Adoptions
website or call (866)
901-9647 for more information.
4.
Food Pantry - For families with minor children
in the household, we offer food assistance directly
in our St. Augustine office. We gladly accept
donations of non-perishable
food items from the community.
5.
Community Outreach - At Catholic
Charities, we believe that helping people help
themselves is the first and most important step
toward achieving quality of life and a true spirit
of community. As a result, we provide
community groups and churches with the assistance
they need to respond to social problems in their
neighborhoods.
