MEET THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE PROGRAMS

Tara Provini

Regional Director

Tara Provini boasts over three decades of residency in St. Augustine and holds dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Elementary Education. She brings over 15 years of dedicated experience in non-profit management and social services, specializing in family case management, behavioral intervention, and program coordination for adults with special needs. Tara commenced her tenure at Catholic Charities' St. Augustine Regional Office in 2017, steadily advancing through roles as Disaster Case Manager, Coordinator, Administrative Manager, and presently, Regional Director. In her leadership capacity, Tara oversees strategic operations and program development to fulfill Catholic Charities' mission of community empowerment and support. She is recognized for her adept management skills and unwavering commitment to service excellence.

Outside her professional commitments, Tara cherishes quality time with her family and two children, indulging in outdoor activities such as beach outings, camping excursions, and enriching travel experiences.

William Bennett

Administrative Manager

William Bennett was born and raised in Tampa, Florida, and has been living and working in St. Augustine since 2019. Formerly the Food Programs Manager for Catholic Charities Jacksonville Regional Office, he started working at Catholic Charities St. Augustine Regional Office in the fall of 2022. Before working for Catholic Charities, William volunteered with foreign service organizations in Haiti and Myanmar. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outside with his family and learning new languages.

Kimberly Williams

Case Manager

Kim was born and raised in North Carolina and graduated from the University of North Carolina, Charlotte. She has been a Social Worker and a Social Work Supervisor for 30 years. Kim fell in love with the area while her daughter was attending Flagler and decided to move to Saint Augustine when she retired. After retiring, she looked for ways to give back to the community and was lucky enough to find Catholic Charities. Kim enjoys spending time at the beach, reading, traveling, and dog-sitting.

Diana Phillips

Lead Case Manager - Putnam County

Diana Phillips has been a resident of Putnam County for 15 years. She attended Florida State University and holds a BS degree in Social Sciences with a minor in Communications. As a case manager in Putnam County, she assists clients in establishing and meeting realistic attainable goals that lead to achieving stability and obtaining safe, stable housing.  She finds her work challenging but rewarding. She has a passion for helping those in need and strives to assist as many clients as she can with compassion. When she is not helping clients, she enjoys reading, volunteering with various organizations in Palatka, and spending time with her husband, 4 children, their spouses and 4 grandchildren.

Marelly Oberholtzer

Bookkeeper

Marelly Oberholtzer was born and raised in Lima, Peru.  She acquired her B.S. in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from Columbia College, FL.  Her experiences encircle several areas of accounting and the banking field. Oberholtzer has lived in St. Augustine since 2008 with her husband and two children. In her spare time, she loves volunteering and spending time with her family.

Kelli Serpaio

Case Manager

Kelli was born and raised in Orlando, Fl and graduated from the University of North Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. She later graduated from Florida State University with a Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice Studies. Kelli lived in Pensacola, FL and Clearwater, FL working in Child Welfare for 10 years before moving to St. Johns County in 2022. Kelli finds it beneficial to help people when they first experience a financial crisis before they find their financial stress carrying over to other aspects of their lives. In her free time, Kelli enjoys spending time at the beach and the pool with her husband and three children.

Lisa Kunkle-Meyers

Marketing & Development Specialist

Lisa embarked on a dynamic career in technology sales and marketing in the Northeast. Her expertise and passion led her to Hilton Head, South Carolina, where she relocated in 2006. As the publisher of the Golfer’s Guide for Hilton Head, Arizona, and Las Vegas, Lisa played a pivotal role in promoting golfing destinations. For the past decade, she has excelled as a Senior Digital Marketing specialist at Cigna, leveraging her skills to drive impactful campaigns and enhance customer experiences. Hilton Head’s vibrant community, cultural scene, and over 250 restaurants have undoubtedly enriched Lisa’s journey. Lisa and her husband moved to Palm Coast in 2020 with their two rescue dogs, Elle and Rhett.
